Week 3

Week 3  - I have put up a bunch of stuff on dropbox, including a new video and my custom shapes that you can load into PS and try out. Also all the reference sheets are in the resources/week2 folder.

Homework. Do 2 or 3 paintings this week. Look at the brief for areas that you can paint up. Focus on the composition!!! If you feel more comfortable in B&W like the demo's then do that. If you want to go for it in colour then give that a go. Try creating some of your own shapes. Around 15 shapes minimum. Use these in your Jurassic Park paintings.

If you want feedback during the week, just post up your work on the blog and I will have a look!

Demo's Week 2

Life Drawing on Friday Nights

Hi guys....un-instructed life drawing will be on Friday nights 6pm-9pm (STARTING TOMORROW NIGHT) at the school. Let us know if you would like to come along. info@cdwstudios.com Limited places available. Easels will be at the studios (first in first served) for use and also desks with power set up so you can paint on your laptop!!! You are also free to just sketch in your sketchbook. This is definitely a first for Adelaide. Pizza will be provided after class and you can hang around and have a chat for a while after. $15 for drawing and pizza!

Most of the CDW Studios instructors will be around on Friday nights so you can always chat to them and get feedback on your work during these sessions.

Remember if you want to get better at drawing, painting and modelling, life drawing is the best place to improve.
